Ecosystem for sharing platform in Nätradalen
The ways we consume, produce, and distribute, but also identify and value products and services are changing. One of the main driving forces is an ever-accelerating digitalization which has led us to create entirely new ways to share, collaborate, and conduct business. Through a collaboration between Bygdsam Nätradalen and research at Umeå University, Nätradalen will be the first in the country to test the innovative sharing platform UMIGO.
The project will contribute to creating a system that makes it easy to share and utilize services in the countryside for everyone. This can include various types of services, such as carpooling, household services, and gadgets.
Digital sharing and collaboration platforms are one of the digital technology solutions that have gained the most traction regarding how, for example, customers and suppliers can find each other and initiate new business relationships, but also how individuals buy, sell, and share.
Based on research on digital platforms and sharing logics, researchers at Umeå University have developed a prototype for a new type of sharing and collaboration platform, particularly adapted to small and medium-sized communities. This type of platform and sharing logic has the potential to make visible resources and offers that have gone unused, been inaccessible, or have not been utilized due to a lack of critical mass.
Since the sharing platform already exists and is ready for testing, the project's work will primarily focus on information dissemination, implementation, and user information. The project will also compile and report any errors, deficiencies, and suggestions for improvement that are feedback from users. Through the collaboration between Bygdsam Nätradalen and research at Umeå University, Nätradalen will be the first in the country to try this innovation as a local site and will gain significant expertise from the pilot project.

There is now a solution for that in Nätradalen. In Nätradalen, the project ”Sustainable Tourism in Nätradalen” is ongoing, and the project found that there is a strong commitment to sustainability as a whole.

The sharing platform Share Höga Kusten
In the project, it was found that there are many underutilized resources, but that are used very little today. For example, it can be difficult to travel collectively for those who want to visit or for those who live in Höga Kusten. Another thing that was observed is that there are many items in our homes that are used rarely or not at all. For example, brush cutters, trailers, hedge trimmers, etc. To solve the challenge of being able to use more resources locally, Bygdsam Nätradalen, together with Umeå University and the platform Umigo, has developed the sharing platform Share Höga Kusten.

Book venues on Share Höga Kusten
Among the first to offer something on Share Höga Kusten is the Nätra local heritage association.
It is the new building Ringarbönninga that can be booked for parties and conferences via Share Höga Kusten.
