Attractive sustainable places
The project is a feasibility study where Leader Höga Kusten together with collaborating organizations in the Höga Kusten rural areas will investigate the needs of the villages and increase their competence in implementing developmental efforts to create sustainable attractive places.
About the support
The purpose of the feasibility study is to investigate needs in the Höga Kusten rural areas so that the villages can gain competence and implementation capacity to develop their villages into sustainable attractive places. The feasibility study is conducted in collaboration with other promoting organizations, and through this work, the villages will learn more about how to develop sustainability thinking in their efforts for attractive villages by working together.
What can one apply for?
A feasibility study has been conducted to investigate the needs and conditions for villages in the leader area to implement development efforts for sustainable attractive places.
8 villages have conducted investigative efforts locally, 2 efforts per municipality. (Sollefteå municipality, Härnösand municipality, Kramfors municipality, and Örnsköldsvik municipality) The villages should have submitted interim reports regarding their investigations as a basis for the feasibility study for the implementation of development efforts in the leader area concerning sustainable attractive places. The villages we collaborate with in the feasibility study have increased competence on how to conduct a qualitative investigation and how the 3 sustainability dimensions can be integrated into the development work. By conducting a feasibility study, knowledge about qualitative investigative work is gathered, and in the villages' interim reports, it should be evident that competence is acquired regarding development work focusing on how the 3 sustainability dimensions can be integrated.
Who can apply?
Villages in the municipalities of Sollefteå municipality, Härnösand municipality, Kramfors municipality, and Örnsköldsvik municipality. A total of 8 villages will conduct investigative efforts locally, 2 efforts per municipality.
