Local supply with sustainable products and services
Do you want to develop a product or service that strengthens the local economy – and at the same time contributes to a more sustainable and resilient future?
You can now apply for support of up to 50,000 kronor to test and develop ideas with clear local benefits and business relevance.
The support is aimed at companies, associations, networks, and other local actors who want to take a first step in developing new or further developing existing products and services that can contribute to local supply. Special focus is on ideas in early stages, where the threshold to larger projects can otherwise be high.
It can, for example, be about:
- Developing place-based products or services based on local resources
- Testing circular or resource-efficient solutions
- Strengthening local supply capacity and preparedness
- Creating new business opportunities related to sustainable transition
Common to the initiatives is that they:
- Are locally anchored
- Contributes to a more sustainable local economy
- Creates value for both businesses and the place
Who can apply?
- Individuals with an existing business or idea bearers with a clear business idea and in the startup phase of entrepreneurship.
- Documentation of contact details, organization, and authorized signatories is required when applying.
You cannot apply for support for
- Existing operations or activities
- Investments: You may not budget for investments which, according to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's definition, are – a physical or intangible asset over 24,000 kronor excluding VAT with a lifespan of more than 3 years. The amount of 24,000 kronor excluding VAT also includes associated expenses to get the investment in place/installed.
- Initiatives that have already started before the application has been decided
About the support
Support level and co-financing
You can apply for up to a maximum of 50,000 kronor in support and a 70% support level. You must have your own co-financing corresponding to 30% of your total budget.
Example:
Your project has a total budget of 71,500 kronor. You can receive 70% in support, which corresponds to 50,000 kronor in support, and then your private co-financing will be 21,500 kronor.
