Collaboration Marieberg

Tourism is increasing every year in Höga Kusten and this is something that entrepreneurs and associations in the Marieberg area want to take advantage of. The Marieberg Folkets Hus Association and the Köja Marieberg Local Historical Association want to strengthen the tourism industry together with, among others, Box Distillery and the Marieberg Cultural Reserve through, among other things, a campsite and an All-Activity House.

About the project

The accessibility of accommodation is important for being able to invest in the tourism industry. Therefore, one goal is to start a campsite under the association's management. The campsite will have an attractive outdoor environment and connect Mariebergsgården, Box Distillery, and the Marieberg Cultural Reserve. Dreams of an All-Activity House that suits all ages will also be realized with the help of project support. Therefore, a proposal is being developed on what it could look like and a financing plan.

The idea is also to create a community association for the village that takes responsibility, creates inspiration, and contact paths for residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors to meet an active and attractive village. The target group for the project is residents, associations, and businesses in the Bjärtrå-Nyland area as well as in Kramfors and the entire Höga Kusten.
