About the project
By utilizing the waste from grocery stores, the project aims to develop a long-term and sustainable business model for companies in rural areas. Social entrepreneurship, circular economy, and climate-smart solutions are key concepts for the project.
The project aims to connect various actors within the non-profit, public, and private sectors and create a flow that reduces food waste in the Örnsköldsvik area and, in the long run, create a model that can be spread to other areas in Sweden.
