Inclusive activities
Do you want to carry out an activity that strengthens inclusion and community in your area? Seek support for concrete efforts that make more people feel welcome, seen, and involved.
Why inclusive activities?
We want to give space for new voices, new meetings, and new ways to strengthen cohesion in the communities. The activities should be accessible, open, and based on respect for differences – regardless of age, background, gender, ability, religion, or life situation.
Two types of development grants
Grant for youth
You who are up to 25 years old can apply for up to 30,000 SEK to carry out your own idea that strengthens inclusion, diversity, or community in your area. The money is earmarked solely for youth and can be used for, for example:
- A series of meetings where youth meet regularly to plan, test, and carry out their own activity in the community
- A film screening or theme evening about identity, tolerance, or equality
- A photo exhibition about diversity in the community
- A concert or event that gathers people from different backgrounds, ages, or life situations.
- A new meeting place for youth from different parts of society
Grant for civil society
Associations, networks, and other local actors can apply for up to 50,000 SEK to carry out activities that increase participation, build bridges between groups, and create open contexts.
Examples of efforts:
- Intergenerational meetings
- Meeting places or events where new residents can integrate
- Create a meeting place in the community center for young and older people
- Activity groups that combine integration with, for example, nature outings, crafts, or cooking
- Inclusive elements in community days, markets, or sports days
- Cultural activities with collaboration between associations and study associations
Who can apply?
- Young people who want to carry out something in their community
- Associations and community entrepreneurs
- Actors active in the High Coast's rural areas: Härnösand, Kramfors, Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik.
We particularly encourage collaborations between youth and established actors, and we also offer coaching, inspiration meetings, and contacts with others working on similar issues.
What is the goal?
We want to see more activities that:
-
Create meetings across boundaries
-
Highlight new voices
-
Contribute to more people feeling involved in the community
The activities should be accessible, time-limited, open to different participants, and characterized by respect for differences – regardless of age, background, gender, ability, religion, or life situation.
Together we create a High Coast where everyone can participate and shape the future!
