Expression of interest
Right now there is an opportunity to submit a simplified idea sketch, which we will provide feedback on as time allows. Our project coaches will provide feedback on idea sketches that come in as soon as possible.
Submit an idea sketch
We have maintained a high pace during 2023 and 2024, where we have granted many both small and large projects totaling around 20 million. For this reason, we will pause the opportunity to submit expressions of interest until the fall of 2025. We will return with an exact date.
There is an opportunity to submit a simplified idea sketch, which we will provide feedback on as time allows. Use the document below to formulate your idea. Our project coaches will provide feedback on idea sketches that come in as soon as possible.

Terms and Selection Criteria
When the board of Leader Höga Kusten assesses expressions of interest and applications, our terms and selection criteria are used.
Terms are requirements that a project must meet in order to receive support. Selection criteria are used to prioritize between applications; with the help of the criteria, the projects that best contribute to the implementation of the leader area's strategy can be selected. Selection criteria are met to varying degrees and are scored accordingly.
In the list to the right, you can download the selection criteria that are relevant for your expression of interest. You use the selection criteria as support to see what your idea/expression of interest needs to contain in order to be granted support.
Do you want to investigate an idea? Then there are specific terms and selection criteria for feasibility study support.

The purpose of the expression of interest is to make an assessment at an early stage of whether the idea has the potential to become a leader project. This saves energy and work for both you, the Leader staff, and the board. It is the board of Leader Höga Kusten that assesses incoming expressions of interest; the board meets regularly to contribute their experiences from previous development projects and provide feedback on the idea. The board consists of representatives from the public, non-profit, and private sectors; you can see all members here.
If the board assesses that the idea has the potential to meet the terms and selection criteria, the project coach will help you take the next step and write an application in the Agricultural Agency's system. If the board assesses that the idea does not meet the terms and selection criteria, the project coach will help you see if there are other funding options available.
