Better service through collaboration
In this innovative project, the project owners want to improve services and create better conditions for residents in the countryside around Lugnvik. This is done with a new collaborative form for social entrepreneurship where the partners have developed a community service model.
About the project
The goal of the project is that the sports club Lugnviks IF and the local store together with the company Eko Tech will offer services such as cleaning, snow removal, and provide food, medicine for residents in the Lugnsvik countryside.
The background of the project is that many people are seeking out the countryside, where there is good housing quality and affordable housing. But for the area to attract more residents and develop into an attractive place, it requires that there are services that facilitate life for people living in the countryside. The idea of the project is also to assist those who need help for various reasons such as the elderly or sick.
The main responsible for the project is the non-profit association Lungviks IF. The association's general goal is to create a vibrant countryside and to work for the Lugnviks area to be attractive and pleasant to live in.
This has been done by maintaining service functions such as the local store and enabling a range of activities for leisure and meetings. This project takes place in collaboration with Eko Tech in Kramfors, a social enterprise that sells a range of different services such as cleaning, gardening, accounting, clearing, snow removal. The third partner is Närköp in Lugnvik, a service center with a Handlarn store and partners such as Posten, Systembolaget, and Apoteket. It is Lugnviks IF that has the task of administering and coordinating the collaboration and enabling the service.
In the project, one works according to a collaboration model of companies and associations together. The model for social entrepreneurship is based on the sports club and the local store together with the company Eko Tech forming a new organizational form for service. The idea is that the collaboration will involve the purchase and distribution of food but should also be able to develop to include other activities such as cleaning, snow removal. The purpose is to create better service and to make it more attractive to live and work in the Lugnsvik countryside. This is to facilitate for elderly people and the existing population in the countryside.
