Sustainable businesses through new networks

The purpose of the feasibility study is to create more business in Höga Kusten by building networks and visibility between groups that do not currently meet. Our idea is that this feasibility study will collaborate with a feasibility study conducted by Företagarna Örnsköldsvik and add a test of a practical method where creators and traders respond to the needs that larger companies have regarding interior design. We will test the method of connecting potential customers (the industrialists) with creators and traders during an event where we have assembled locally produced environments at affordable price tags. 

Increased youth participation

The purpose of the feasibility study is to create a strategy for how the Association Committee together with young people can create better conditions for the target group to establish themselves in the green industries. The Association Committee wants to increase our knowledge about young people in rural areas, especially those who already have connections to the green industries today, within the family, through education, etc. Through the feasibility study, we aim to learn more about the target group's needs, but also to develop one or more concrete activities to create participation and, in the long term, rejuvenation in the industry.  

Höga Kusten North towards 2030

The overarching long-term goal is to create more sustainable, profitable, and attractive businesses within nature tourism, the visitor industry, as well as creative and cultural industries in our area. With this as a starting point, we believe that interest in Höga Kusten North can increase and contribute to a more socially and economically sustainable place to both live and visit. 

Nature-supported rehabilitation – even in Västernorrland?

Bygdsam Nätradalen wishes to investigate the possibilities of continuing to take social responsibility while also being part of the solution for those on sick leave and those who are far from the labor market. There is a strong desire to contribute to increased health and well-being for the target group that a rehabilitation garden would suit. Through the feasibility study, the hope is to find forms of collaboration between the public sector and the private business sector to be able to implement this.

Small-scale hydrogen production in rural operations

To develop materials and contacts to eventually investigate the possibilities for a larger feasibility study related to the production of hydrogen from biogas and solar energy for use in the agricultural sector. The long-term purpose is to make farms more self-sufficient and less dependent on imported energy, fuels, and fertilizers.

Greater community and increased preparedness

Together with Nyföretagarcentrum Örnsköldsvik, the four Bygdsam associations in Örnsköldsvik municipality want to create a project aimed at inspiring increased entrepreneurship in the countryside. This is done by showcasing the opportunities available in rural areas with lifestyle entrepreneurship and management of existing businesses. To create this project, we want to conduct a feasibility study that examines how we can best proceed and which additional partners are interested in joining the journey. 

Node Nordingrå – sustainable visitor development

The idea is to prepare a larger development project through this feasibility study, through a series of workshops where we map the participants' competencies, time, and ability to contribute long-term towards clear goals. We analyze methods for how we can utilize them in this process and in our future collaboration. 

Walking and cycling path

The purpose of the feasibility study is to develop opportunities for how we can implement the establishment of a walking and cycling path in the specified area; Hulte/motor track and Lägdom-Fröland as well as commuter parking for bicycles by E4.

Method for putting art on the map

The purpose is to develop a method for putting Art and artistically significant places on the map in Höga Kusten – simpler, more structured, and reusable. This will strengthen Höga Kusten as a place for both residents and visitors. Now and in the future, for all actors interested in promoting art and geographical locations in that sense.

House of Opportunities

Investigate how an underutilized building in Mellansel can become a meeting place for people in the community with activities both socially and practically.

Tranaparken – Activity & meeting place

The purpose is to investigate the possibility of developing and expanding an activity and meeting area in Skorped, so-called ”Tranaparken”. With the help of local stakeholders and consultants, we want to create sketches of the activity area to visualize and clarify our vision in order to facilitate clear applications for larger project support.

Local development Nensjö

To investigate the conditions for starting a local development project in Nensjö, anchoring the idea with the members of the village association, and laying the foundation for a project plan.

Manor wings for visitor development

The main purpose of the feasibility study is to ascertain the conditions for using the manor wings for the benefit of the association's, the locality's, Nätradal's, and the entire Höga Kusten area's development.

Viksjö solar community

To find out interest, costs, and opportunities to start, build, and operate a jointly owned solar power facility in Viksjö and surrounding areas.
