About the project
In short, the project is about packaging the site's conditions and building an infrastructure that links the area around the community house with nearby destinations, such as the Höga Kusten Trail. At the same time, investments will be made such as service buildings, reception, walkways, and parking, which gives more people the opportunity to use Lövvik as a starting point for hiking and strengthens the service along the trail. This will reduce pressure on other places in Höga Kusten and add value to the product Högakustenleden.
The project aims to create conditions for new reasons to visit, lead to new collaborations between the association and business sectors, create infrastructure for nature and cultural experiences, and not least increase pride for Lövvik, Norabygen, and Höga Kusten as a destination.
Region Västernorrland and Kramfors Municipality are co-financing another phase of development in Lövvik, namely the construction of the outdoor theater itself. The son of the village, Tomas Ledin, together with the production company 2Entertain, is also driving the initiative. On July 10, 2024, the village play written by Tomas will premiere – see you there!
