More and more people want to invest in the countryside. For this to be possible, financing opportunities also need to be in place. Therefore, Leader Höga Kusten has driven a project aimed at developing new and sustainable financing and capital supply solutions in the rural areas of Höga Kusten.
About the project
Access to capital is an important prerequisite for new businesses to be established, but also for existing companies and entrepreneurial associations to be able to develop. To improve capital supply in Höga Kusten, banks, funders, investors, funds, Almi, and other financial actors must be active.
Digitalization and new technology also open up new opportunities, such as crowdfunding, a way to finance ideas through multiple private investors. The development of alternative financing solutions is also a way to “bridge” and complement other financing, such as various forms of project and business support.
The project examines the capital needs and alternative financing models and creates a collaboration structure around new and sustainable financing and capital supply solutions in the rural areas of Höga Kusten. The project will also develop a demo version of how a platform with such solutions might look, as well as explore the possibilities of applying for development funds to create a full version.
