About the project

After having conducted a Vinnova-funded project together with Kramfors Municipality that included vision work and citizen dialogues to point out the direction for Lugnvik's future, Lugnviks IF is now granted funds to make the plans a reality. The project aims to create an even more inclusive, pleasant, and safe community to live, thrive, and operate in.

The project focuses on three areas:
More activities for all ages
Better conditions for meetings and education and
Energy- and climate-smart energy use

The initiatives are located in two places; Skatan and the Association Center. Skatan is being developed with, among other things, a new dock, barbecue areas, and improvements to the riding arena. The Association Center is being upgraded both indoors and outdoors with new energy-efficient heating and solar panels, space for new meetings and activities in the old school’s premises, as well as a new attractive outdoor environment. The outdoor environment is equipped with, among other things, a barbecue area and an improved pétanque court, while the lit trail is being rerouted and connected to the association center.
