How do we create a positive view of the countryside and the entrepreneurial climate and in this way create an attractive place that attracts capital, competence, and drive? That was the question that Leader asked itself, and from that grew a project that works with opinion formation, inspiration, and creating Countryside Builder Days for those who build our countryside in Höga Kusten.

About the project

Leader works with rural development and among other things by working for a better entrepreneurial climate in Höga Kusten. In the project ”We Countryside Builders,” we work together with our partners to highlight some of the entrepreneurs and associations that represent entrepreneurial strength in various ways (Countryside Builders).

In the project, we will also arrange inspiring networking days that provide inspiration, innovation, and conditions for long-term collaborations between companies and associations. We will also work with opinion formation to get others to understand the drive that already exists in the region.

To provide conditions for new innovative collaborations, we have started working with the Countryside Builder Day, which will help to highlight existing businesses through, for example, shadow boards. During the spring and summer, films and photos will be produced to spread the attractive image of rural businesses.

The idea is to reach out with inspiration to potential returnees, who can become aware of all the positive aspects that come with living and thriving in the countryside. We also want to showcase to those of us who already live here, the drive and creativity that exists in the countryside. Leader will also work with opinion formation by writing debate articles and by taking an active part in, among other things, the Rural Parliament that will be held in Höga Kusten in 2018.
