Apply for a power of attorney from the Swedish Board of Agriculture

To be able to make a project application to the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the person responsible for submitting the application must have power of attorney for this. It can take more than a week to obtain the power of attorney, so it is important that you do this as quickly as possible. The power of attorney is applied for via a special form and sent by post to the Swedish Board of Agriculture, according to the instructions in the form.

Write your application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system

Once the power of attorney is in place, it is time to start the application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service.

Find the right e-service

Go to www.jordbruksverket.se and log in to My Pages (at the top right corner) with Bank-ID. Select the organization you will represent and write your application. If you do not see the organization you represent, the power of attorney has not yet taken effect.

For your application to be complete, you need to attach a budget template.

If the project includes investments, you must also attach two comparable quotes for the investment. Investment within the framework of Leader support is considered the purchase of assets with an economic lifespan of at least three years and a purchase value exceeding a certain amount, usually 24,000 kronor excluding VAT. This can be equipment, machinery, buildings, or other assets used to develop and improve a business or area within the framework of the Leader program.
